The Ravinia Associate Board
April 25, 2010
The Program: The Ravinia Associate Board hosted its annual black-tie fund-raiser, complete with a James Bond twist.
The Agenda: Honored at the fête was Ravinia Trustee and Ravinia Women’s Board member Lucy Minor, who was influential in expanding the depth of the festival’s education programs.
The Venue: The “Shaken, Not Stirred” theme was carried throughout the Ravenswood Billboard Factory in Chicago, from the “You Only Live Twice” signature cocktail, to the “Double 0” hors d’oeuvres.
The Highlights: Jazz legend Willie Pickens played with the Ravinia Jazz Scholars, while guests admired the American and European sports cars.
The End Result: The more than $220,000 raised will benefit Ravinia’s REACH*TEACH*PLAY programs, which provide students throughout Chicagoland with free music education.
