The Occasion: The Friends of Gorton, the fund-raising arm of the Gorton Community Center in Lake Forest, hosted an incredibly chic cocktail event and runway show sponsored by Forest & Bluff and Sheridan Road Magazines.
The Venue: More than 250 supporters weaved between the Aston Martins and Maseratis on the showroom floor of Lake Forest Sportscars in Lake Bluff.
The Highlights: The fashion show featured up-and-coming men’s and women’s designers, as well as established retailers from the area.
The Finale: Clothing designer Maria Hansen was awarded the first-ever Gorton Diamond Designer Award.
The End Result: Funds raised for the evening went directly to the community’s beloved center, which provides, maintains, operates, and manages
charitable, educational, and cultural programs for Lake Forest residents of all ages.
