The head designer of Alexander McQueen, who shot to fame after creating Kate Middleton’s ethereal wedding dress, debuted her Fall 2013 line to astounding reviews. Political themes aside, the 10-piece collection featured a plethora of pearl accents, Elizabethan collars and delicate lace. Each of the 10 outfits took two weeks to create.

The clothes, while not practical for everyday use, show the immense amount of range and talent Ms. Burton has. We can’t imagine how Alexander McQueen and Sarah will out do this showing, but somehow, we think it’ll be good.
