Friends of Gorton Community Center

Featuring selections from Southern Wine & Spirits of Illinois, supporters of Gorton Community Center sipped and sampled their way through The Fresh Market in downtown Lake Forest on July 13. Stations were set up throughout the newly opened store and were complemented by a wide array of appetizers. Guests enjoyed such delights as a classic shrimp cocktail, fresh assortment of sushi, or caramel pecan brie on ginger thins. All proceeds from the event’s ticket sales went toward the Gorton Community Center. Guests enjoyed 10 percent off each bottle of wine purchased, and 15 percent off each case.
