More than 130 guests raised a glass to one of the country’s most valuable artists’ colonies during “A Toast to Ragdale” on May 6. Set to the backdrop of the spring greenery at the Chicago Botanic Garden, the event serves as the Ragdale Foundation’s primary spring fund-raiser. The evening included cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a live and silent auction. More than $60,000 was raised to provide operating support for Ragdale’s programs, primarily the artist-in-residency program.
