School of St. Mary Parents Club

On September 16, after a long day out on the links of the Deerpath Golf Course, supporters of the School of St. Mary headed over to the Lake Forest Club to wind down with a pig roast and cocktails. The Parents Club gathered together more than 200 people for the two events, which raised funds to help students with programs and activities within the school, intended to enhance their learning experience. A volunteer group of 29 couples with children enrolled at the school, members of the Parents Club donate their time to help organize fund-raising activities throughout the year and to continue to help the School of St. Mary in providing high-quality education to children through small class sizes, differentiated learning, and a faith-based curriculum. Laura Rukavina and Julie Schaefer serve as co-presidents.
