The Spirit of 67 Foundation
The ninth annual Spirit of 67 Foundation “Opening Doors for Education” Home Tour was another rousing success this year. Nearly $57,000 was raised for continued enrichment of learning experience for District 67’s students and faculty. Four significant homes were chosen based on their design, architecture, and/or historical significance. The Home Tour is considered one of the premier annual events that supports the high quality of education in Lake Forest schools. The funds raised will go directly toward grants in fine arts, math, science, wellness, language arts, social studies, and nearly every subject in between. As guests enjoyed viewing the stunning homes, student music groups from Deer Path Middle School provided the entertainment. This year’s event was co-chaired by Lynn Bertram, Molly King, and Jamie Wolf. Sandra Rhine serves as the Spirit of 67 Foundation’s President.
