Catholic Charities Lake County

The Charities Golf Classic was held on July 25, an annual event which supports Catholic Charities services in Lake County. After several rounds of golf, hundreds gathered under the tent at the Knollwood Club in Lake Forest for an evening of food and friends. Mike Leonard, who has contributed well over 1,000 segments on the lessons of everyday life on of NBC’s Today Show, entertained the crowd as the dinner’s guest speaker. Bob and Mary Pasquesi of Lake Forest served as the honorary co-chairs. Proceeds from the event went toward Catholic Charities programs in Lake County including children and family services, community casework, Samaritan House, SAFE Housing, and
senior services.
