1. Lake Forest College President—10th
   This year marks Lake Forest College Stephen D. Schutt’s 10th year in his role as President. As the 13th president of Lake Forest College, Stephen has made a wonderful addition to the school’s history.
2. Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast—40th
   A favorite of many Lake Forest and Lake Bluff residents, the Kiwanis Club has been putting on the annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast for decades. This year will mark the 40th anniversary of the treasured breakfast tradition. Enjoy time with family and friends over a delicious pancake breakfast.
3. Lake ForestFlowers—30th
   Although Lake Forest Flowers was founded in 1917 and moved to its current location in 1947, John Looby III is celebrating 30 years as its owner this year.
4. Lake Forest High School—75th
   Lake Forest High School (LFHS) celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. To recognize this special event, professional artist and LFHS alumnus Mark McMahon was commissioned by the LFHS Foundation to do a commemorative painting. The piece, titled “Kids and Cars—A Classic Reunion,” currently hangs in the high school, and prints can be ordered through the LFHS Foundation.
5. Bailey & HartInteriors—10th
   Bailey & Hart Interiors celebrates its 10-year anniversary this year. Decorating homes in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff has been their passion, and one we hope will continue for many more years to come.
6. Lake Forest Frame & Design—10th
   Lake Forest Frame & Design has become the go-to place for frames and wall art. This year marks its 10-year anniversary serving Lake Forest and Lake Bluff residents.
7. City of Lake Forest—150th
   Happy 150th, Lake Forest! With the dawn of this important anniversary, the town has instituted some fun new opportunities for residents, which includes the opportunity to plant your family tree. Lake Forest residents can purchase a tree to be planted and maintained in the honor of a family or an individual.
8. Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company—20th
   Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The host of events such as the annual carnival, the Lake Forest Bank goes above and beyond to set itself apart.
9. Peg Ann Kompany—10th
   A resident of Lake Bluff for 10 years, Peg Ann Kompany has become a staple store for beautiful accessories and jewelry. Whether you’re looking for a graduation present, a birthday gift, or perhaps a present to yourself from yourself, Peg Ann Kompany can satisfy just about any need.
10. East LakeAcademy—10th
    East Lake Academy, a Roman Catholic grade school, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Educating children ages pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, the East Lake Academy integrates a spiritual education with the highest levels of academics.
